Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love
Join us in celebrating our newest Viva Babe, Mrs. Prado! The energy at the recent school celebration was electric as everyone rejoiced in the fantastic news: Mrs. Prado's cancer is now in remission! Surprising her with the Viva Babe award was a special highlight of that afternoon, and her genuine reaction was priceless.

Mrs. Prado is an exceptional 6th-grade teacher who embodies resilience and strength. Despite facing the challenges of battling cancer while juggling her roles as a wife, mother, teacher, tutor, and cheerleading coach, she remains an absolute positive powerhouse!

Sheree, one of her fellow teachers and nominator for this well-deserved award, shared Mrs. Prado's inspiring journey with us, from traveling to Houston every other week for the last six months for chemotherapy to having the most fantastic school spirit and representing the school with such immense pride at local games and events. Mrs. Prado's positivity and determination have been unwavering despite the tough times.

Her favorite quote by Mother Teresa, "Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love," beautifully reflects her compassionate nature and the love she pours into her students, family, and community.

Mrs. Prado's journey has been fortified by an incredible support system—her students, children, and husband. Their unwavering love and encouragement have been her rock, providing strength and joy throughout her journey, from chemotherapy treatments to moments of celebration. She expressed tremendous gratitude for her close-knit school community and how they've shown up for her and her family.

Mrs. Prado, you are a shining example of courage, resilience, and love. We are beyond proud of you and the positive impact you make every day! Keep being a ridiculously awesome Viva Babe!
